View Full Version : Ska fans: what are some "horny" bands?

I'm looking for some new ska tunes but what catches my ear are the songs that have a fair amount of horns.

Something like the following songs:
Save Ferris - The World is new
Sublime - Wrong Way
Rancid - Time Bomb
Less Than Jake - All My Best Friends Are Metalheads

Any bands that are more "horny?"

Reel Big Fish is what you need bro.

Heres a sample. (This song happens to have less horns than normal)

Reel Big Fish is awesome, so's Less than Jake.

You might like the Dropkick Murphy's too, Terry... no horns but bagpipes.

Some mighty mighty bosstones might help....as for Reel Big Fish:
241 <---instrumental only, horns all the way through.
Alternative baby
Sell out <---you might know that one if you play any soccer videogames
'Everything is cool' isn't bad either.

Most of them have tons of horns, these are just my faves at the moment.

Saw 'em live at Red's once. Good show. Made me wish I had a cordless mike on my horn when I was playing back in the day.

Huge fan of the Planet Smashers. I'm listening to a lot of Streetlight Manifesto right now and I think you'll love em.
