My laptop has two USB ports. One is a 2.0 and the other is a 1.1. Am I correct in assuming that plugging in a USB 2.0 hub into the USB 2.0 port, gives me additional 2.0 ports? I've done this and when I plug anything into the hub, Windows suggests plugging the device into a 2.0 slot to gain better performance.
