many ways to tell. picture of the stitch, picture of the tag inside. and if you lift the bottom of the shirt you can tell by the inside lower tag

If you plan on buying off ebay, first go to a higher end store (holt), just to browse before searching ebay. Look for specific items, from different designer lines of seasonal clothing. After buying a few shirts, you will catch on to...
In the end, you'll pay for what you get.
