dont wanna crap your thread, but you wont get a third gen supra (86.5-92) for 2500 bucks unless its a front cut from japan.
complete cars go for about 5000+

an option is a second generation supra... seen a bunch of them in the 1000-3000 bracket, and you might like the looks of them.
still rwd with a torquey inline 6 and all kinda other goodies.

just my two cents.

ya at the auctions, think there gonna work worth a damn? lol
my friend bought a truck which seemed to be in awesome shape, no leaks, all polished and clean, got out on to country hills and it started pooring coolant and oil everywhere. headgasket.
$1500 to replace. he paid $2500 for the truck.

on the other hand i bought my rx7 at an auction and it worked perfect, until it got hot out but thats an rx7 thing.

Ok, here's a general rule of thumb.

Only two possible reasons for selling at an auction: 1) You want to sell QUICKLY, and/or 2) The car is a piece of shit

Try your luck.

did you read the 1) SELL QUICKLY!

Some people have nice cars that work fine and they need to unload them fast due to a move or whatever.
