shipped a car from toronto to calgary... used searail. no problems at all, except it was a bit disappointing to find out that it would be railed to edmonton and then trucked down to calgary... instead of direct to calgary. I think they ride off cnrail.

I guess my only complaint was that it was SLOOOOOOOOOW but... well, I was impatient to get my car :P

Make sure that the company shipping your car does a visual inspection of the vehicle before and after transit, just incase it's damaged in shipping. Most companies will do this, and have you sign off on the report when you give them the car, as well as when you receive it.

search for "searail" and you'll pull up a ton of threads about it. Personally I have only had good experiences with them. I shipped my CRX with them and it went smoothly.

My car is from Vancouver, I paid $300 and had a dealer put my car on one of their trucks that had an empty spot on it going from Vancouver to Calgary. Then, just pick it up at whatever dealership it goes to here in Calgary. They take care of everything and it was extremely smooth and quick.

Stay away from searail, use Hansens, they are very professional, and take good care of your vehicle

I used Thorsons Transport out of Toronto to ship my prelude from AB to NB. They were referred to my by ZR Auto.

The experience was very good...
