My buddy (GSXR 600) and I (Hayabusa) were cruising down the #1 highway headed back to SK and all of a sudden this Dodge minivan blows by us. We were doing 165km/h at the time!! I couldn't let this happen! So I sped up and pulled right beside him. The crazy asshole was doing 180km/h, in a minivan!! I have never smelt such a foul smell in my life. I think that the engine was ready to give up. Congrats to the guy that got a minivan going that fast.

yea, some minivans can haul pretty good but I think it's dangerous because they're not very aerodynamic and cross winds can pull them pretty bad. Plus they don't have as low a center of gravity as sports cars and the suspension isn't built for that kind of driving. Gotta love the crazy soccer parents.

It wasn't a turbo. It looked like a 1994-1996. They were only offered with a 3.0 v6 or a 3.3 v6. Possible engine for a civic swap. Who needs JDM when we have Caravan power!!

My mom has a 96 with the 3.3. I have gone around 190 a lot of times. Suprisingly stable but the brakes are terrible and have really bad fade at those speeds. They are by no means fast but they can get up there.

haha those old turbos had some balls. My sister drove one for a bit. Now i drive a van too, i think its gonna happen to my bro aswell, first ride is a van!! haha. My Astro is pretty sweet, but being the boxiest of the bunch its not great vehicle to be in when your doing 160! Thats all i can get to then the chip stops me.

I drive a 94 Dodge Van for work. Its not bad at all, but I've never had it upto 180km/h before. I usually want to keep it under 140km/h

HaHa, when I was in germany this past year, I was crusing on the autobahn at about 160 km, and I looked in my rear view and saw these lights coming up quickly, so I pulled over, to my suprise it was a dodge minivan and he blew right past us.
