So, fooling around with my display settings, I disabled my display adapter, and now the computer boots, and I have no screen... :banghead:

Fixable?

Try starting in safe mode and see what happens.
then you should be able to go back and undo what you did.

seems to do nothing when I go into safe mode... jsut shows a dirver list, then freezes

man, did I fuck this up....

so put in the windows recovery cd, and instead of repairing it, I somehow ended up re-installing windows...

This thing is 3 years old, now I need a cd key :banghead:

Note to self.... DONT FUCK with stuff that aint really broke lol

load the computer indo safe mode, then uninstall the drivers for the video adapter, so basically not just enable it but uninstall it outright. Then when windows boots normally it will use a generic windows driver and then u tell it to use the normal one and you are back in business
