it looks 10X better than the current gen. First gen still looks the best imo

ummm... its ok, i like the power theyre making now but the look just isnt working for me.

imho the best looking se-r was the previous generation, 01-06 i think or w/e the years were.

DOnt like it, looks too much like a family sedan. The sport compact scene should be a more agressive looking car... maybe i should make my own rendition... hmmmm

I was about to buy a 1st gen specv until they announced it. I'm really hoping they made the suspension stiffer and fixed the rear end so it didn't tripod so much in the corners. The big thing is how much it's goign to weigh. 1st gen weighed in at around 2700lbs, the better keep this one under 2900 .

more pics and info on the car: http://www.thecarlounge.com/news/publish/article_398.shtml

Looks like they're placing the shifter similar to what the EP3 had. Im not a big fan of the new design, like most other people first gen looked the best.

I like it. The new Sentra looks good, good power. Nice interior as well for this segment.

350z headlights squished.... what i mean about the styling is examine the 350z vs the sentra. The STANCE is ALOT more different and you can see quickly that this is not a sports car, its merely a sports VERSION of a family car. Its okay and i vouche to say that it does resemble a CTS

Honey, I shrink my Maxima.

Not too keen on the look but the extra torque will make it easier to pull the weight compare to Si. And it's lucky that Spec-V competitors are all gone:

Si - Coupe only
CSX-S - at least $7K more
Mazdaspeed 3/Caliber - 5 door hatch

It's definately an improvement over the last gen one but it still lacks the raw appeal of the original SER. Maybe not enough boy-racer in the styling considering that will be the target audience. Will they be made in Mexico like the last ones because they weren't every reliable.

Doesn't mention anything about independent rear suspension. I guess it's still using a good old fashioned solid beam? :(

I wish nissan would get more creative. Maxima and altama are pretty close in cars, now this.

still a beam back there. It will never handle like an independant setup

The new SE-R's independent strut front / torsion beam rear suspension design

what's up with the shifter in the console :(

looks to high and not long enough to me.

The redline is still too low people will be banging off the rev limiter in first just like the last version.

btw hello torque steer!

They did go creative and the design was shot down. Which lead to the 2 years delay on introducing the new Sentra.

Creative isn't always good.
