security deposit return

i was wondering if anyone knew how i would get my security depsoit back at honda. the form says it has to be mutual consent. just wondering if anyone has gone thru this?

Well you're pretty much screwed. My mom did this at three different dealerships (!!!!) and could only get things back from one.

Your mom should stop leaving deposits at dealerships. :)

I got mine back from Renfrew Chrysler. Not sure of your story, but with me I put money down on a Dodge Dakota and then they told me I couldn't get it for a few days, and I went to Advantage and bought a Ranger that they could supply to me the next day. told Renfrew my story without BS'ing them and they sent me my deposit back in the mail by cheque. Just depends on how you talk to them. Don't be forceful, just try to be nice without being a pushover.
