anyone? also anyone have thoughts on removing a CF hood during the winter? Do you get that much damage from the bolders that the snow plows put on the road?

riceeater makes em, apparently, it the chip isn't so bad, you can lightly sand down the clear coat and put on a new coat of resin?

taking of your carbon hood is a good idea. due to the cold weather the clear coat on the hood is more fragile which could lead to spider cracks on the finish of the hood.

Maybe look for a place that does aircraft structural repairs? We learned how to do basic stuff at SAIT in Aircraft Maintenance, so maybe there are experts in town.

We have repaired CF. The part that really can't be duplicated is the CF look where the area was repaired.

CF can be repaired the same way one would repair fiberglass or SMC.

The repair can be done no problem. It is the duplication of the CF look.

If it is just on the edge we have had good results with black and then clearing the panel.
