My car inspection

I imported a 90 300zx from Japan, and the place where i was getting an inspection done told me i need some sort of cushion and reebar for my front and back bumper, and they dont know or cant find a place to get them from, does anyone know if these parts are really needed, or where i can buy the parts, and also if there is a better place to get an inspection done, thanks

Well there's your bumper cover - which some people actually think is your bumper, and then underneath that there is the actual bumper which should be a long metal bumper bolted to the car. If your car does not have this, then you will not pass inspection. Actually, you even need the bumper cover to pass an inspection. The cushsion, well on most cars I know, is actually a piece of styrofoam that goes between the metal bumper and the bumper cover. If that's all your missing, well I'd go somewhere else for the inspection.

if u dont have these couple things you wont be able to pass the insepction and also wont be able to insure it.

see if you can find a parts car or luck out at one of the wreckers. I could only image how expensive a part like that would be from the dealership

thanks, i pm'd marvin and it looks like the cars off to kuksshop tomorrow unless theres anyother suggestions, i talked to them on the phone seemed really nice
