Well for one thing they don't have the really dark thick soy like Silver Dragon does, all they have is the regular salty thin soy & well the food isn't nearly as good.

The only reason we went there today was because Silver Dragon was booked solid and the wait time was too long.

Harbour City is just plain bad, in fact they have been closed down numerous times because of unsanitary conditions.

Treasures of China???

Yea i don't see what's wrong with Regency. I find their dim sum pretty good.

Silver Dragon sucks IMO. Completed whitewashed, and highly priced for not that good food.

Forbidden City in Pacific Place(formerly Franklin Mall) has got to be the best. Prices alittle higher but definitely worth it for the quality of food you get.

Siiiiick.
Almost as bad as Son she's gay (Sun Chieu Kee)

The best place for Dim Sum imo, is East Gate on 17th.
The ghetto it is, the better.

So far I find Silver Dragon to be the best, the food is clean, decent tasting, and is not that oily. I find when I go to Regency I'm extremely tired when I go back to work and the food takes forever to make its way through my digestive system... Not to mention I do get thirsty right after which suggests that Regency has more MSG then silver dragon.

If you go to a whitewashed chinese restaurant, chances are you won't get food poisoning lol

Some interesting experiences in this thread.

Silver Dragon is great for Chinese food. They know how to run a smooth operation. That's why it's so busy. Luckily my GF's dad use to work or hang out with the two old gangster looking guys that are usually at the front desk so we are allowed reservations. I don' see how their food is 'white washed' even though majority of their customers are caucasian. I'm Chinese and absolutely love it there.
