copag or KEM cards are the best you can buy, too late to buy on ebay now probably.

check around some of the local stores might be able to source some from you.

I bought a pack of copags a few years ago, mine are still brand new, I washed them a few times (yes, you can wash these cards), and they're still as good as ever

Poker gifts are pretty lame. Rounders movie is best answer so far. Everything else will probably be like "OH thats awesome thanks!" and it will go into the back of the closet.

I'd say Rounders or KEM (not Copag) cards.

Or The Little Blue Book is also a great read. I play a lot of poker... personally, the only gifts mentioned above I would actually like would be the Kem/Copags, Rounders (If I didn't already own it), or the books.

They really suck. Shuffling is a lot easier/faster.

the cheapo card shufflers you get at superstore or walmart end up ripping the edges of regular cards. not sure if they'd damage plastic cards, but shuffling 1 deck isn't that much of a hardship.

Big bump. Anyone know any local poker shops? Looking for a nice deck of cards (copag, kem, modiano).
