I would try heating it up with like a hair dryer and than using rubbing alchol to whipe it off.

remember to do a test spot first, goo gone and automotive goo gone are pretty aggresive.

goo gone works on everything. scuff marks, grease. I highly recommend it. My kids coated my dishwasher with stickers and before we sold our house it took them all off without leaving a mark.
Is there an automotive goo gone? I haven't heard of it.

any auto store
canadian tire, auto value etc. I think superstore and walmart even sell it.
WD-40 works good to but do a test spot first as it might discolor or fade the surface.

Sneek,
Goo Gone is FAR from aggressive. I've used it on car paint to remove some crappy side decals. It's natural based, not solvent.

If you use it around your air vents, remember you will be breathing that crap a lot. Might want to wait until it's warm outside and you can open the windows.
