here are some of the reviews

We purchased this tv a couple of days ago. All I can say is that its truly amazing. I hooked up the 360 to it and the picture quality blew me away. Now the only problem is that the screen is too big for the room. We are 10 feet away from the TV and after watching it for an hour, it gives you a headache. Sadly we are packing it up today and returning it for a smaller screen. Probably a 37 inch.

Bought this SONY TV three weeks ago. It is simply spectacular, particularly with an HD signal. As a Full HD model, it is way ahead of other non-full HD LCDs. In addition, it has outstanding sound and an extremely wide viewing angle. Most importantly, its screen doens't have the annoying light reflection, normally found on Plasmas. At this point, you cannot buy a better large screen TV, for the price

Pros: Beautiful in appearance and picture quality. The best picture of any television.
Cons: Hard to navigate menu.

The menu and settings for this machine are, to be frank, not the easiest thing to manage - but it can be done. And once it is done, you have the best picture in any tv, ever. I went to the store and looked at every single tv hanging on the wall, all connected to the same cheesy cable. I always came back to this television. The clarity is astounding, and that's when its not even on HD. On HD, it is truly like "looking out of a window".

My wife was very instrumental in the purchase of this, and she was mostly focused on the looks of the thing. It is a handsome set, and its elegant look is as superior to it competitors as the picture it broadcasts is.

Pros: Good Contrast, Wonderful Picture Clarity, Fast Moving (No Pixilation)
Cons: Expensive

Sony's newer version of last years XBR1 is another win with LCD. This year's is true 1080P with LCD flat panel unlike last year with projection. The contrast is amazing compared to other LCD's which have serious problems with creating pure black images. The true 1080P image shows great clarity and works perfectly with PS3, blu ray players, or for enhancing an already great HD image.
