Ok folks I am looking for some help here

All my money has been going to pay for furniture etc, so I need to buy myself a Christmas present this year and these two decks are what I have come up with

I am absolutely torn between these two decks, and the prices between the two are fairly similar

what would you buy and why?

thanks in advance :)

Oohhhh is there some reason you want a double DIN? And then go Kenwood then

Why not pick up a higher end single din and a dask kit...

I've never had any luck with kenwood stuff I bought, always troubles... I hear the new excelon stuff is decent.. But I don't know if I'd risk any more money with them...

edit check out this, it's much cheaper:

http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_7192.html

And if you get it in the states make sure they ship it up here usps... (car domain is a good site to use, and will ship usps, they may price match too if they carry it, I've not used sonic before, they say they ship to canada but have ups listed as the shipper)

lol horrid maybe, BUT it has recordable technology so that you can hold up to a certain amount of songs on its internal harddrive, AND the buttons are 264 color so you can set it to the color of lights in the car..

so tempting..
the clarion deck is definately the flagship of the clarion productline.

see that besides maybe the color thing doesnt interest me as the compression of the songs take away the quality.

real cds for me or bust :)

Oh God, dont touch Kenwood, I swear you have to have a degree in Computer engineering to figure them out. I still have yet to figure out how to adjust the treble & fade controls on this older cheapo Kenwood CD deck I had installed in my moms SUV.

They're crap nowadays. Older Kenwood amps are the only thing by Kenwood that I'd go with, ANYTHING new Kenwood..... avoid.... and thats that as far as I'm concerned.
