So I bought my bimmer not too long ago, and there's an airbag
light that's lite? why is this? and how do I get it off because it's
kinda starting to concern me and scaring me alittle... cause I
think it's going to deploy on me or if I do get into an accident
well... there won't be any deployment at all so... what's going
on? and how do I resolve this on my 01 BMW 320i.

Theres usually stickers in the car, behind the sun visors or something.. Atleast in the manuals.. Saying if the light comes on, or blinks..etc take it in to get checked out..

It is saying your AIR-BAG Is now Deactivated.

Get it checked out, it could be a loose wire, ecu error

My buddy had the same problem with his 97 and when he took it in to the shop he was told that the air bag would deploy at any given time but it might be a different problem with yours :dunno:

No, actually it has nothing at all whatsoever to do with the seatbelt.

there is a seatbelt tensioner that might be faulty and may need replaced. this will cause the airbag light to come on. common in bmws.

you'll most likely have to bring it in to the dealership to get it reset. That happened to my car when the battery was low, all the lights on the dash appeared and I had to bring my car in for them to reset the system.
