Why don't you just call and find out? Only sounds like a tranny problem though

hey kurupt have you checked out celicatech.com its a great site, I still read it and Im no longer a celica owner:cry:
also does it always pop out of gear?? I have had cars "pop" out of gear usually third on occasion. I was pushing the shifter far enough into the slot lol.

The turbo swap IMO is not really worth it, as the aftermarket for these cars is so slim already, you would always be dumping more than you need to into the car. Good luck with it:thumbsup:

This will not work out as you are hoping. First off, the tranny that is included with the engine will be the AWD tranny out of a GT-4/alltrac. That tranny will NOT work with your current set-up. You will need to swap out your entire drivedrain to utilize the AWD function. Also, you cannot "disconnect" the AWD to make it FWD, and it is not work it to convert the AWD tranny for FWD use.

On a side note, there is TONS of aftermarket support for these engines. It is the same engine as those in the GT-4/alltrac and SW20 (2nd gen)
