Wow...didn't think it'd be that easy. I wonder how accessible one of those lock sets would be anyways?

it would open the car, but it didn't say that it will start the car... very interesting though as how easy it is to open a bmw door.

It wont start the car due to the immobilizer. These guys also sell lock decoding kits for VW,Mercedes and a few other manufactuers as well.

Does it really matter if the car can't be started? You get in, turn the cylinder to unlock the steering column, hook it up to any other car with a rope and tow it to your garage.

No damage to the car whatsoever. Time to get a "Club"

Very very good point.

Your buddy can steer while you tow.... parts car anyone?
