NYE Fireworks

I was wondering if anyone knows if they are shooting off some fireworks tonight at midnight somewhere in the City. :dunno:

Last time I saw fireworks on NYE it was at city hall.

There were some pretty good ones at the Zoo already. They went off at 8:30 (family type thing).

The only fireworks are at the Zoo early...as stated 8:30 pm.

No other "legal" display

Yah, that was kind of a downer, completely no fireworks at midnight except for people shooting their own. I just ended up shooting off some of my own at a park.

Its been a few years since we've had fireworks(besides the zoo) or some kind of event held by the city for NYE.

anyone remember way back when they used to have events in that ice rink in downtown? olympic park i think, they used to put sparkles down the side of one of the buildings while having fireworks in the background, weird how we dont have anything like that anymore

No NYE events (ie: like the ones that used to be held downtown and televised on CFCN) are held anymore simply because no company wants to sponsor such an event. Really gay considering how many big name companies are in town.

Do they still sell fireworks at bears paw, like where is somewhere close that sells them near the outskirts.
