My first "car" - a hand me down from my parents. Its orange colour named it the nickname "cheesewagon". Lots of fun in its own way and useful for camping trips and such. It had a 360cid V8 and 3spd automatic. The interior had velour captain's chairs, a rear seat that folded to a bed, wood panelling and shag carpet. Very groovy!

My first car I bought with own cash. A mint 1978 Z28 with a 350cid V8, 4bbl carb, 4spd close ratio manual, posi 3.73 rear and some headers with true dual exhaust. The previous owner had ported the heads and put some sort of aftermarket cam in it too. Lots of fun. Sold to buy first house.

'88 New Yorker - Loved this car mainly for the digital dash and pleasant voice that brought low fuel tanks and ajar doors to my attention. Owned for 3 months before being totalled by a drunk driver.

'92 Escort - Owned this guy for 5 and a half years. I started being interested in cars while owning this car and so learned most of my general automotive knowledge from it. One day it had an electrical problem and, while I was fine with it, my mom said "That car is crap, let's buy you a new one". Not one to deny my parents generousity, we went car shopping.

'02 Protege 5 - I managed to find this fucking gem hidden away at Kramer Mazda. Was fun to drive when it wasn't misfiring in 3 godamn cylinders. Mazda fixed the problem but I'd attached negativity to the car and couldn't drive it without worrying. I decided it was about time I actually went into debt and got a near new car that I could love for a long time.

'05 SRT-4 - So far so good. Shame I bought it just as winter was approaching but it's allowed me to get used to the car without going balls-out and wrapping it around a pole. I've got big plans and nothing but a smile on my face when I look at it. Booyah!

1989 Honda CRX SI - loved this car so much, had it for about three years including a failed attempt to rebuild a blown engine myself. If only I knew you could easily swap engines...

1995 Honda Prelude SR-V - my favorite car I've owned and one of the nicest I've ever been in. Babied to death and finally and regretably sold becasue I couldn't even bring myself to drive it in the rain!

1987 Honda Accord - winter beater 1 for the lude; POS wouldn't idle in the cold, the muffler fell off, one door wouldn't open

1991 Honda Civic DX HB - winter beater 2 for the lude - nothing special, just a good get-up and go car.

2002 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V - Torque?? WTF! Never knew what that was before i owned this car This car will also make it hard to drive a manual that doesn't have 6 speeds.

Next - BMW 3 series coupe, Lexus IS300, Volvo S60R or Audi A4 Wagon. We'll see.
