Horsepower?

No clue... probably somewhere in the 250-300 to the flywheel.

That's if I had to guess, just based on how this car felt to pull
when compared to a stock BNR32.

It's fairly quick.

The car's great, as i mentioned it's my friend's car.

He's selling it because he's going to school and already owns an
R32 as well as this.

This was supposed to be his car to keep, but school won't allow that.

Yeah it was bought from DJ auto.

Has this guy changed injectors and fuel pump? BTW, 250hp at the flywheel is probably low with that turbo. I'd say more like 240-250 at the wheels.

Flywheel/crank horsepower numbers are for fags that love to flaunt!

I'll definately have to check that, I'll ask him tonight.

The reason I put conservatively low numbers was so no one said
"Omg it doesn't have that much" lol.

rage2 was in the car and he figured about 320 to the flywheel.

Quick car, great guy selling it. Shame that school must come first... Pulled on a STI with a bored out turbo and turbo-back exhaust. Even the subie owner was impressed.

Had a good question, "Has the car passed OOP" and the answer is yes, in Saskatchewan.

Everything was perfect so it shouldn't be a problem getting it oop'd once it's fixed.

how would this be for a DD? Or is it more for sho and go Track days or...?

VERY nice car BTW!!

The car is fine for a daily driver. It also will giver' on the track.

The clutch (twin plate) takes a bit of getting used to, but no big deal. As far as winter goes, well, the car is low. Other than that it's AWD and has winter tires so it has great grip. The heater isn't great but it never bothered me, it doesn't blow really hot air that's all - I believe this is the case for all skylines in the winter. I only drove about 1000km this winter.

Sounds good. It would definitely be a DD for me... and on the big snow days... we the wife will have to do without her Jimmy for a day or two. LOL.

PM returned.

Thanks.

Thanks to those above for the nice comments. I think it's pretty cool too!

The update for everyone interested is the following. Basically my engine is hurting for something. It sounds like a rod went, but normally if a rod goes it will clack all the time, and mine comes and goes, but it definately sounds like a rod. Anyway I am going to get Autodream to swap in an RB25 and an RB26 transmission and swap over all the useful parts I can from my current broken engine.

If anyone wants a good platform to rebuild or to do a nice engine swap now is the time. I will go as low as $7000 for this car but no lower. After I fix it I will probably keep it as I am losing too much money on this.

How much can you get another engine installed for?

Good question. Depends what you want to do:

Rebuild ~ $3,500 (don't even really know what's wrong with it)
GTS4 RB20 - $4,000
RWD convert RB25 - $5,500
AWD RB26 incl tranny - $7,000

These are approximate prices from Autodream. Depends if you want to mod these engines and so on, as always with modding you can get out of hand very quickly.
