A lot can change in 2 weeks! Keep your fingers crossed that maybe another chinook will blow in :)

I appreciate the heads up and understand that there is a possibility that those temperatures may occur.

Although my only comment towards anything that "The weather Network" predicts is..... generally not accurate!!!

They have been wrong so many times.

I'm not calling you out Infamous, I just find The Weather Network to be a tad incorrect at the best of times.

I am hoping it's wrong. I still can't get winter tires. I have been looking since OCT!

Well, anything greater than a 7 day forecast has about a 1% chance of being correct.

I beleive next day is 70%, 2nd 60%, 3rd 50%, 4th 40% and 5th is 30%.... anything greater than 5 day forecast is pointless.

Check this same graph tomorrow, I bet you it drastically changes.

edit: By the way, never use the weather network... they couldn't forecast christmas. Stick with environment canada.

i realize that the weather network is almost always incorrect, but with a downward trend like that, i'm pretty certain that we are looking at dropping temperatures. it can/might/probably will change (we do live in calgary!), but even if that is slightly correct, we are in for some cold weather :thumbsdow

cheers

I never look at the 14 day trend section..I always only look at the 7 day forecast..the weather changes so fast here that looking that far long term is useless. Temperatures probably gonna drop soon though.

It's -1 in London, and it's supposed tos tay that way for the next while.

The coldest day we've had ALL YEAR has been -11.

The weather network gets all it's data from Environment Canada.

Any weather over a week away is based on historical data, not any weather patterns. Don't read into it.

And EC get's it from NavCanada I believe. However, they each have their own forecasters, which is why the forecasts between EC and WN are different.

Thats not bad...anybody who has lived in calgary for over 10 years should know that weather changes by the minute and should be used to -30 weather by now. If it does come around another chinook will blow in and the cold weather will end up only lasting a day or two.

All i want for this damn winter is more snow...the cold weather can go somewhere else.

It is possible. Mike from TireCraft was telling me once the distributor is out of stock, it can be a couple months before new stock comes in. You can always buy online however.

Yes I'm well prepared for the upcoming weather. Bring it on!

:werd: It's funny how it usually works like that. People will complain about cold weather and snow in the middle of winter. As great as it's been the last month or so, it'd nice to see snow and get use out of my winter jacket. lol

Kritafo

We checked into changing the tire size and nobody will do it not either tire guys from here will change it after talking to Saturn.

:werd:People just like to Bitch in general. When it is hot in the summer, the bitching comes out then as well.

For christs sake the majority of us are over 20 years old. Thats two decades to understand how to be prepared for any kind of weather.

Suck it up and plan for it.

Is it a possibility to have a regular sized Steely set up for Winter and the Odd size Saturn get up for Summer?

Since the beginning of time, this isn't Winnipeg.

-20C is COLD, not warm, not chilly but cold.
