Hi all,

I have a quick question regarding listing a truck on http://www.AutoTrader.ca

My friend is at this moment on vacation in Ontario and wants to list a truck for sale that is here in Edmonton. Can he list it for sale on AutoTrader.ca (edmonton region) and get someone else to show the truck in Edmonton?
Is this allowed?

Any help is much appreciated, thanks.

So you are asking if someone other than the owner can show a car to potential buyers. Why wouldn't it be allowed? Did I miss anything?

The owner would be required to do the paper work for the transaction though.

^ +1, yea sounds like a weird question to me too... unless I'm misunderstanding something. (i.e. cuz he said his friend is only on Vacation, meaning it's not a case where the friend moved to Ontario and leaving the truck in Alberta)

MAYBE, he was asking if someone can list it on auto trade for the friend's behave???

I don't see why not, it's just a matter of paying the listing fees... Just get your friend to email you what he wants put into the ad, and then take a snapshot of the truck... and then submit the listing payment... and a way you go.

Good luck with the sale.
