Air purifiers

I want to get an air purifier for my room in the basement. It is about ~200sq.ft

What should I be looking for in an air purifier? Cost? Good brands?

I'm also interested in any personal experiences or recommendations people may have. I'm getting sick of dusting every 4 or 5 days.

They have good ones at the bay (forget the brand) but my mom uses one just in her room and it gets packed with dust and crap. But if u want top of the line one that could do pretty much a whole floor or 2, filter queen makes some good ones.
