Lost Pictures

Is there a way to recover pictures from a memory card that was formatted in the camera? My sister did not know what formatting meant and has deleted all of her vacation pictures. Is it possible to recover them?

Yes. Don't use the card until you try to recover them. There are file recovery programs that can restore them, and if not all, at least some of them.

ya if you can get some sort of file recovery program it can detect the files and make a file index/location header for it(i think thats how some of them work. so as long as you don't overwrite the data you should be fine.
