Anyone ever taken your selections to the counter at a record store only to get a look like you just grew three heads or something from the clerk? I have pretty eclectic tastes, and I happened to find a bunch of stuff I wanted to get today. So I take everything up to the counter and you'd think the guy had never seen a CD before, he was just incredulous. Just curious if anyone else has ever had this experience? For the record, my purchase was:

Marilyn Manson, Golden Age of Grotesque
Iron Maiden, The Number of the Beast
Glenn Miller Orchestra, 1960s
Philospher Kings, Famous, Rich and Beautiful
Blondie - Atomic Blondie, the Greatest Hits

Haha! Come on man, Glenn Miller and Marilyn Manson in the same purchase? That's like renting the Sound of Music and some hardco porno movie at the same time!
