Can someone tell me the differences between the mk11 gti and the gl? things such as power, tranny, suspension, brakes, etc. Thanks

similar motor (both 8v). I believe the GTi has a close-ratio 5 speed where as the GL is basically a 4 speed with an economy gear. There is more, but im outa time for now.

different interior trim as well... im not too sure bout engine wise though... all 8V suck... cept for mine :D

gti...10:0:1 compression ratio
gl...9:0:1 compression ratio

gti has a bit more hp and it has rear disc braks
