There's a place called "stich it" (I think) that does good work. It's in Chinook.

I just got 2 pairs done at some place at Chinook mall, right by Sears (dont know the name)

They cut the piece off the bottom and re-stitch it on after hemming so they keep the same stone washed look

Tip-top does it quite well. There's one in market and chinook. They give a 10% discount when you bring in a receipt from some select stores.... (i.e. mexx)

I used to go to specialty stores like Stitch-it but I got tired of paying $20/hem.

Tip-Top +1. I think they charge $7.00 per pair. You can't go wrong and you get them back same day.

hah! same day? perhaps i suppose. It always took me at least 3 days. Just get them done when they're not busy (grad time = no no  ) i paid about 10$/pair - average price i guess.
