No he starts off as a bad guy, he was created by Galactus and uses silver surfer to scope out worlds for him to eat.... yes this does make me sounds like a geek but I dont care.

I think after battling with the fantastic four he realizes what hes doing is wrong and switches sides.

I however did not know he could pass through solid objects though :eek:

i thought one of his powers is his ability to manipulate molecules and shit (read of wikipedia)
