hey guys alright i think i mihgt buy a car that WAS a right off.. but now its fully fixed... but it needs the inspection to be done... do u think i can insure it and take it to the inspection or do i have to tow it

i think you have to get it inspected first before you can buy insurance.

i think you have 30 days after you buy insurance to get it inspected

how do you know its fixed if it hasnt passed the write off inspection yet??

but phone your insurance company.. they will answer it in 2 mins

alright ill give them a call tomorrow... its just i know the car was fixed mint lol cuz they do alot of work and ive seen the cars they worked on... do u guys know how long the inspection takes?

for a safty inspection?!?! i went to ok tire on 17th and it costed me like 40 bucks

im pretty sure you need an write-off inspection....in that case, the car CAN NOT be legally driven or insured before the inspection is done (unless you have an M-plate or a dieler plate) after the inspection, you go to a registry with the inspection sheet and get them to put the car back in the system as repaird. and then you can register it and insure it.

the inspection will cost you about 300$ and it will include a wheel alignment (make sure the car is actually done right, you will fail the inspection if you have as much as a cracked windshield)

i talked to my insurence and they said i can insure it for 10days then bring it back with inspection
