View Full Version : I need suggestions!!! help! 240sx ppl help!

well i'm looking at a 240sx 1989 model near my area. its for sale with a SR20DET redtop S13 swap nothing else, 52000 KM on it. power windows, power locks, sun roof, no radio casette or cd player. it looks great condition and paint is nice. hes selling for 3.5 grand USD. u guys think this is worth it? the car is basically finished with the motor swap, but there are no gauges for it nothing everything else is just stock. Compression test with results as follows: 161,161,163,162 (i have no idea wut that means, can someone explain)

so should i go for it?

That compression test seems quite high. Majority are around 150 or so.

my sis's 240sx needs a crap load of repairs and its not worth the money and the tranny swap too..
