I wanna take off the Accord and the V6 emblem on the trunk of my car. Does anyone know what I can use to get that sticky crap off after I take off the emblem???

But is there something else you can use to get the glue off?
Cuz I wanna take off the plastic around the wheel well as well. And I don't think I can use dental floss for that.

Use your thumb, it's a pain in the a$$ and it'll blister but it works. A little heat from a heat gun or hairdryer will help as well. Or you can get a "butterscotch wheel" that will go in your drill and remove the 3m adhesive but not your paint, any bodyshop supplie place should have one. there is also products like wax&grease remover, goo-gone, etc that will soften it.:burnout:

yeah just use a hairdryer to heat it and then run the floss in behind the badges...then use either goo gone or wd40

GASOLINE ..... then just wash your car good after so it doesnt eat away at the paint. Works about 10 hundred times better then your thumb or a heat gun.

dental floss, hair dryer, your thumb.
NEVER goo gone, gasoline, paint thinner, brake fluid, nail polish remover....

Bug and tar remover for paint will also work.

What's wrong with Goo Gone?

Hahahah do a test patch first dude....
It reacts differently with each material you put it on. I have seen it eat dashes, clear coat, fake wood finish.
EDIT: If anything it might make the area slightly lighter or give it a white haze.

sweet, thanks for the info, thought I give it a try, hair dry heat up my emblem then use dental fross and take it off,

the only draw back, I had to use my finger nail the longest time to scrape the glue off... Pain in the azz.

but in the end its worth it..

dam why does subaru have to have such long name..
