Need expert advice about possible car!

Alright listen up guys,
all coments are welcome unless you have no idea what your talking about.

My friend is interested in purchasing a car...he found this car and i need you guys to give him some info on weather he should jump on it or avoid it.

Details:

1987 rx-7 turbo ll
200 K on body
40K on rebuilt engine
seller says that something is wrong with the ECU and that the car drives funny.
black
no apparent rust from pictures
Seller is asking 1500$

so yeah...i think he should skip over it and keep looking but what do you guys think?

thats all the info my friend gave me... i dont think he test drove it yet, but thats what the seller must have told them

i'm with you in saying your friend should look over it and keep searching for a better car that won't cost him a ton of money to fix up

Any rx-7 that "drives funny" is something I would avoid at all costs... rotary's can be picky at times... and "funny" doesn't mix well with "picky"
