Whats The Most Rarest/expensive Car You've Seen In Calgary

I've only seen one late model Lotus Esprit in Calgary, a purple-blue one if I remember right. Also, rage took some snapshots of an oldschool benz gullwing that should still be around, which i've never seen in real life.

I've only seen the pictures of the SLR at Deerfoot Meadows, otherwise I'd definitely say that.

Next would be either the Ford GT or Flying Spur for rarity, there seem to be more Lambo's and Ferrari's around these days.

Roland's LM was not a real LM, but a rebuild of a near-destroyed standard F40.

I think you needed to own 2 already one of them being the f40 or f50 I am not sure, I dont think you need to trade 2 ferrari's in for it though. that would be rediculous. ZR Auto would meet the requirements to have one.

You are somewhat correct regarding how the Enzo was distrubuted.

You have to be "known" to Ferrari in order to be considered and invited to purchase the car new (at a little more than half the current market price). Whether you were known for owning a Ferrari dealership, racing Ferraris, collecting Ferraris mattered on a scale. Whoever the top 399 people were, they got to buy the car. Having one or more of the previous supercars helped your case, but wasn't required. There are quite a few that owned all 3 (288GTO, F40 and F50) and I understand they were all invited to purchase an Enzo.

Despite reported attempts, ZR couldn't make his way into the top 399. Being the persistant person he is, ZR purchased a pre-owned Enzo from a large dealer in California (paying much more than the MSRP of the car at near the top of the Enzo market).

There are no restrictions on the sale of used Enzos. Ferrari is creating a new policy of "first right of refussal", but that's another topic.

Not really "in Calgary" but in Okotoks I've seen Ferrari F430, Lamborghini Murcielago and sat in the ZR Enzo :D

Yup it's true. He said that's the only way he was allowed to bring it over. I'll try to scan the pictures I have in tonight and post them or edit my first reply.
