Not really a career but if anyone is looking for a reception/front desk job in a really cool environment, Hedkandi is needing someone.

So if you're young, cute & female, thats what they are looking for.

www.hedkandisalon.com 3rd ave location.

New talent refers to a stylist that isn't journeyman yet. Many new talents are actually better than the licensed(journeyman) stylists, usually just too lazy to get their tests done.

^^agreed. Additionally you can walk into a salon and get the licenced stylist who hasn't changed there thinking from when they first started the buisness and get the n00b who is up-to-date on style and get a nice cut.

IMO you can't tell a $30 cut from a quick-clip $5 jobby until you get one.

$40 is nothing, I know some guys who spend $200/ cut.

Anyways to the OP, are they not open to hiring males at all? I used to be a stylist and would fit right in, even if its front desk. Taking it pays well.

Who spends $200 every 3 or 4 weeks, and what's done to it? The only way I can justify it is if he is a gigalo and can write it off.
