hmm skills competition/young stars game is on the tuesday the 23rd at 6:30-9:00. I really wonder if the NHL moved the games from the weekend so then it would avoid conficts with the NFL playoffs so then more viewers could potentially watch?

Where's Iggy and few other flames?

Iggy is injured and the other flames are not good enough to te starters on the all star team. Kipper should be but thats what happens when you have a bunch of hippies on the west coast voting for everyone on the cancucks three times.

This years all star game is WACK. Not only is it on a wednesday this vote system sucks. We got guys like cheechoo who are doing horrible this season compared to last season STARTING for us because he has more votes then other ppl who deserve it more than him. I personally think everyone who voted FOR RORY FITZPATRIK are a bunch of clowns. You guys screwed up the votes so instead of voting for guys like iggy you guys are voting for some punk ass rookie. I am rooting for the east this just because i wanna see ovechkin kick some ass

Iggy is hurt.. he has a sprained MCL from a hit in the Calgary Florida game and he wont be back until after the allstar game

Rory was a write-in defenceman, and had negligible impact on forwards. Perhaps people voted for Cheecho as well, but I suspect that was team-based ballot stuffing rather than a side effect of the Rory campaign. I, for one, voted for Iginla every time I voted for Rory.

The whole point of the Vote for Rory campaign was just to prove how stupid the voting system was which it did. And I never heard of people being in the NHL (or any sport for that matter) for 10 years be classified as rookies :dunno:

:werd: I didn't vote because I thought it was some big time joke and it would be the "cool" thing to do. I voted because I was all for the cause showing that the voting system is a whole load of :bullshit:. BTW Everytime I voted, I voted for Iggy, Kipper and Phaneuf.
