He had a thread selling Lake Louise card so I gave him a positive trade feedback on that thread instead. I did not realize the first free lift I got out of the card was in fact the 7th last lift until later when I went to Sunshines for the 4th time. Not happy.

Edit: oh and I knew something was fishy when I asked him what his cellphone number is and he said he can't remember and he left the phone at home. I thought to myself, why would anyone scam for $60? I mean, I have at least that much faith in humanity.

It's not that I don't need it. I want a laptop for school (mostly just to mess around/kill time in class), but I am not going to pay 1 grand for a new one.

And I am poor for the following reasons: being an alcoholic/bar star, buying lunch alot, paying for my own tuition/car/food/rent without any help from parents.

Just a huge heads up on this guy, I pm'd him multiple times before I even got a response and when I FINALLY got his number and called him twice, said he'd call but he never called back or he was never around... :thumbsdow so much for serious sellers!

And for curiosity's sake I did go to the FS to check out the laptop, they were identical in specs... so unless the one he is selling has a dvd burner on it (because the ob futureshop ones don't), I don't know how it can be "hopped up" anymore unless it's hooked up to a turbocharger and nitrous??

needless to say, i ended up with something else which was beter and nicer for my sis

so in reality i would say a fair price if it works fine would be 300-350 if you can get ever get a hold of the guy, but after hearing that story about the lift pass, i'd be compelled to spend the low end of that

(afaik this post does not violate any of the rules of the marketplace, but if i am wrong, so be it)
