I was planning on waiting until later in spring to sell this but I need the room so I'll let it go now. I bought it just over 4 yrs ago and sunk a pile of work and money into it, yet only put about 200 miles on it in that entire time.

- motor was freshened up(1600dp), brand new carb as well
- brand new complete front end(link, king pin set up) including all suspension and steering components, installed by Bushmaster
- tranny replaced and has 0 miles on it since replacement
- chevy adapters for wheels
- centerline wheels, skinnies up front, fatties on back - rubber is brand new 0 miles, also have extra set of agressive tires mounted on centerlines for rear if you decide to hit the trail
- gas tank has been blown out and professionally cleaned
- brakes on all corners redone(drums all around)
- car is candy apple red(engine bay is Cat yellow)
- COSTS ONLY $64/YR FOR INSURANCE. How can you afford not to buy this? :nut:

What the car needs:

-tranny is a bit stubborn going into 1st and 2nd. Needs adjustment
- pasenger side seat needs to be bolted in.

There is nothing else that this car needs to be on the road. If I have to take the time to fix these things, I will be selling the car later in the season for $6000. I will let it go now for $4500. That is a huge savings for someone who wants to invest a weekend of time to sort it out and have a sweeeet summer ride. I really don't have the time to do this so I'd rather sell it now at a loss and get to work on other projects.

I will also include any and all aircooled VW parts I have. I don't have much but I know there are a few little things kicking around here.

I will try to get some pics up later on.

Sure is.

As an extra, if the new owner does not have a place to work on their vehicles, I will allow you to use my garage for a day to do any repairs or mods you want to do to the car before taking it home. I am pretty well set up with a 4 post lift, compressor, welder, sandblaster, tons of hand tools and power tools, etc.

Will also consider trade plus cash or maybe straight trade(depends on car) for a 4 door automatic.

Thought it was sold but buyer never came through. Still up for grabs. I've taken it for a few spins around my neighborhood on these nice sunny days. Very fun to drive.

My insurance is through ING. It's under a classic policy, but without mileage restrictions. $64 is for full coverage as well, plpd, fire & theft, & collision.
