So I talked with my buddies over at Tunerworks there and they can't find a supercharger for my BMW 320i 2.2L

So what other alternatives you guys think I should do?

Put a 2.0L supercharger on there? or the 2.5L? if there is such a thing?

Thanks,
Steve

i think most supercharger company is located in US but 320i did not introduced in there.
Only company that I can think of is ess supercharger which is european. www.esstuning.com
and they do have 320i 2.2L supercharger kit.

You cannot do a custom turbo on these cars... The cars have been out for 7 years and there has not been a turbo kit produced yet becasue of reliablitly issues with the car.

Superchargers are the only way to go, yet.

A 320 does not have an available S/C. You would need to swap in a 2.5 or a 3.0 L engine, and then get an AA Kit

$6550 USD

And all that money to get a 0-60 of 6.4???

It's just not worth investing in a 320 man...not enough aftermarket support to make it worthwhile

sell your car and buy a 328.

You will get similar power and you won't have tuning and reliability issues.

technically the 320 has an m50 block, so a 325 blower should it but i dont know the specifics...but yeah, unless its a big six in the e36 its not worth it

6.4 shitty... and that turbo adds on 270HP? or it brings the car to 270HP?

Umm no I like my BMW! :D plus if I supercharge it it'll be the first 320i supercharged and loose a lot of money$$$ but I guess either way you still loose money to whatever car you invest in right?

Thanks for the site, it's expensive but hopefully it'll be worth wild.

We'll thanks for the tips everyone and I know the 320i isn't a modd friendly car cause I've talked to Tunerworks, but we'll see what we can do. Hopefully the couple grand here is worth it for the 320i and it'll probably be the first 320i 2.2L supercharged.

Thanks,
Steve

Sorry man I'm going to have to agree with the others. Save the money you would spend on the s/c and get something higher up the food chain. It would suck having spent all that money on the s/c and get from 0-60 in 7.2 seconds.

Sigh... anyone wanna buy my car? lol lol I'll start at $22 000 haha

ouch...an auto 320?

Honestly even if you spent that money, you'd still be slower than a 330 5spd, and it would really suck to be in that position

Does the trip tonic doesn't do anything?

I'm looking at the ESS tuning that one of the beyond members gave me and see what Tunerworks can do for me, now just to really save up that large sum of money...

you will be seriously disappointed. That is the worst bang for the buck I have ever seen.

For $28,000 you can buy a really nice 328 or 330. Have REAL leather, a sunroof, nice stereo, etc...

Why throw money at something that you won't be able to sell later? Nobody will want a moded 320. Also, if you spend nearly $8-$10K (think about install, exchange and taxes), you might be lucky to get $2K for it when you sell it... cause there aren't many 320 owners that will want to buy something like that used.

Your singing to deaf ears man. He has a auto 320 that he wants to supercharge. Clearly he has not thought this through, or at least still doesnt realize the challenge it would be to have a reliable, supercharged 320. I'm guessing cost isnt a problem, I mean daddy picked up the bimmer, auto and all, he'll probably end up paying for the mods as well.

Hmm yeh pretty much :D

Maybe I'll just wait off for awhile and get a 330, sooner or later.
How much is it these days for a E90? or a used one atleast?
