Is anyone else having trouble getting TSN and Sportsnet on HD with Shaw? Did they decide to start charging for it??

yep I think it's part of a HD package you have to pay for now... they gave a free preview until last week. Extra 2.95 a month for TSN and Sportsnet. We also have to pay for National Geographic, Discovery, CTV, A&E and Showcase HD. I think these channels and TSN and Sportnets are part of the HD plus package.

its 54.90 for the HD Basic + Sports, or 60.95 for the HD Basic Plus (Discovery, A&E, NG, ect)

Aaaaannnnnnnnnddd that's why you go with Bell. Make the switch, A2VR6. It would be about damn time. By the way, guess what was on HDNET last night? Race of Champions Cup again!

I called to get it activated. REgular channels look like crap compared to HD, had to pay it.

both correct lol

+$5/month is for just sportsnet and tsn in HD
+$9/month is for sports and other "add-on" HD channels

sorry, I dont want to pay the extra 10 or so MORE bucks for Bell per month AND buy 3 recievers. Dont forget that i'll end up paying a bit more for internet too since I have that bundled.

Then downgrade from Xtreme, you don't really need that anyways. Plus, Bell always has deals for new customers going on, and renting is only like $5/ regular receiver. Right now it's 50% off packages, so you can get a HD package starting from $35.50 a month.

Do it!
