Euro spec 1991 BMW E34 M5

My M5 is up for grabs. Very rare Euro spec imported to Canada by myself this year.
A superb example of these legendary hand built German Autobahn stormer. Unlike the North American variant the Euro spec delivers more power at 340Hp and capable of 170mph with a very well balance BMW motorsport tuned chassis.

This example is finished in stunning metallic black with unmarked leather/motorsport cloth interior. A full BMW/specialist dealer stamped service history from new. 110,000miles. Desirable throwing star wheels with excellent tires. The car is equipped with a full onboard computer, airbags, individual climate control, electric windows and rear folding blind plus much more.

I’ve just completed a full top end rebuild due to a failing head gasket and replaced the transmission input shaft bearing. Both common faults at this mileage with the M5. All new BMW parts used for rebuild along with a full fluid/ oil change. Also new Brembo rotors fitted. The car will be safetied ready fro sale.

An extremely fast car with great reliability and tons of comfort. A modern classic

Probably the cheapest and the cleanest in Canada at $17000

actually the cleanest m5 in Canada is owned by my old man

but this looks like a very nice example of my #1 favorite car

does it have anything in the way of modifications? chip? exaust? shift kit?

I am looking to pickup one of these in the spring, that seems like a pretty reasonable price.

Have you replaced the sls in the rear? (typically problems with leaking)

The car is totally stock. I have a reciept from BMW for rear shock replacement two years ago. No other leaks in the SLS system.

Originally from europe. Different specs from USDM varient. More power, less weight, different interiors etc

Some people preffer euro cars and I guess some dont.

If your buying the parts from BMW then it will be a fortune. I just bought everything I needed for the top end rebuild from BMA parts in the states, they stock everything you need for these vehicles. All OEM stuff but a fraction of the price.
The parts are identical to the USDM couterpart.

They require a certain amout of specialst knowage to work on but many garages can do this at a reasonable rate.

You cant run a car like this on a shoe string but they dont cost the earth either.
