 In Alberta, when you purchase a new condo you are given 10 full business days to review the condominium documents. He is probably in a Conditional Sale so it is still possible to for him to get out of the deal and walk with his deposit cheque.

This is their first crack at building townhomes. I believe you are building in "Copperfield". The location there is nice since it's near the community center and park. As for build quality, it's hard to say. Maybe some of the Sabal home buyers should chime in and voice their opinions.

We built with Sabal in 2004; a house not a condo, also in Copperfield. We had a problem with our lot (first one was a reverse pie walkout lot) being too small for the size of house we were building which we did not find out for 4 1/2 months after we put down the first and second deposits. We did find another walkout lot for $1000 more (larger by far) which we found out was really a transition lot. It could be a regular level lot or a walkout lot which required a concrete retaining wall to be built. To there credit Sabal ate the cost of the retaining wall to make amends for the confusion over the lots.
Really, they were good to work with overall; I have heard bad things about Pacesetter Electric (at the time Sabal's electrical contractor). Other than that I recommend them.

Thanks ianmcc....i found that sabal has really good interior designing....like their houses are build to look more modern inside...thats one reason why i chose a sabal condo

Floor plan 18a. Where's your unit? And are planing on living there or is it just an investment property? I really hope its a young croud but who knows.

And they only jacked the prices by 5% so not that bad considering how underpriced they were in the previous phases. I still beleive they have them priced too low but I'll take it haha.
