The Calgary Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance
in locating a stolen classic car.
Sometime between 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 9, 2007 and
7:40 a.m. on Wednesday, January 10, 2007, an unknown number
of culprits stole a red 1967 Chevrolet Camaro two door with a
black vinyl roof. The car was parked in a secured, detached,
residential garage in the 100 Block of Templewood Mews N.E.
At the time of the theft, the vehicle did not have a battery
in it and none of the batteries in the garage were stolen.
It is believed that the car was either towed out or a battery
was brought in from an outside location.
The vehicle is classified as a “classic” car and is valued at
$30,000.00
Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to
contact Cst. Saad, District 5 Team 2, at 280-6677 or Crime
Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
