Cheap land for country place........where?

Looking for land to build country place,not more than 4 hours drive from calgary.I wanted to know if anyone here could help me out with locations they may have bought or know of any?I would like to be close to water but it doesnt have to be,cheaper the better.

Try NE Calgary, it has the cheapest land around the city. the downside is that you won't get a nice view or be close to water. Its like Saskatchewan lol.

Build a country place on the northside?i want something out of the way and quite in the country.

check around the Rimbey/Breton area, nice scenery, and far enuff away that the prices are quite cheap. Breton is about a 3.5ish hour drive from calgary, Rimbey is 3 hours, and pretty much straight north of sylvan lake.
