After the insurance adjuster looked it over, he didn't put the hood down properly so as I drove to the bodyshop the hood flew up and took out the front window.... $6800 damage in total. Upgraded to CF hood and hatch...

IIRC, the large hole is a reverse hood scoop to cool the alternator and let the hot air out. The smaller one on the side was the actual intake. This picture better illustrates the reverse nature of it.

Rob, i think your car looks VERY nice without the CF hood but, with the hood it still looks good.

thanks, it really was a tossup. I was able to get the hood and the hatch at a really good price, and since the hood was as much as a stock hood and paint, the shop used it instead of buying a new one and painting it to match. I've tossed the idea around, painting the sides and leaving a CF stripe from the scoop down but decided just to keep it as is for now.

CSI has just released proof the 'robare99', as he calls himself, didn't infact hit a deer at 115km/h. Infact this was just a cover for the first degree murder of the beloved Mr. Clean icon from the popular household cleaning product company Procter & Gamble.

It is believed that after purchasing 'Mr Clean' products, Mr. robare found himself entirly unimpressed with the product he was told would make his cleaning experience simple and leave everything "sparkling clean", he snapped and went to hunt down the icon and strike him with his yellow toyota (shown below).
