I think almost everyone here who actually posts more than once a week is a car enthuasiast. There's nothing bad about beyond becoming more of a "general culture spot". I don't even really use google anymore for events, reviews of places/movies/etc in Calgary.

It's great to see Beyond grow but I think that it will always stay a car enthusiast website more than anything.

That's not true...For example, there are plenty of annoying fat chicks and whatnot that whore this place up. They pretend to be into cars and porn, but that's just for cheap attention from guys.

hahah for me it all started with spottings of modded cars with stickers at car shows and later on a meeting for The Fast and The Furious at Chinook on the day it came out LOL. I used to be on Abcars frequently after seeing some stickers on the old Silent Rage cars and then it disappeared. Then Beyond appeared and I did not post here for a while, but after I wanted to just use the marketplace and it just escaladed to posting regularly. This is a great place with some of Calgary’s finest cars (as well as other cities) and I’ve met some great people on here, no wonder it consumes you to become addicted

I seem to remember Fluidic mentioning at a meet last year that he spent too much time on Beyond so he was "quitting" the site. He posted a couple times after that, but haven't heard anything from him lately.

I went from posting between classes in High School to posting between classes in Med school haha...damn I've changed alot during my time here.

I've gotten so much good advice from people and met alot of crazy OG down to earth peeps off this site. People like GTS Jeff, xrayvsn, ZorroAMG, Gondi Stylez, EK 2.0, 1-bar are just some of the straight up G's that I'm glad to know.

I do also miss the old days when everybody knew everybody..but what can you do. Naturally it was going to grow but I never thought that it would grow to the level its at today.

I'll be around for many years to come for surez.
