thoughts on the new 2004 spec v

I'm the proud owner of a 02 Spec V and have had no problems whatsoever. I'm realizing alot of you are from Calgary, so if any of you have Spec V's I want to know what you think of the new Spec V's. I'll give you my 2cents first then you can either agree or disagree. For me I fell in love with the exterior almost immediatly and the rims gave it such an aggressive look to it. The inside was not only sporty but comfortable, with such a unique style of color ( red/black ) interior and a 6 speed tranny with 175horses under the hood. For me the new models lack all that on the exterior, new front fascia looks like a cavalier and so sedanish, the rims look like 16inch and the cheap chrome tips on the exhaust.
For those of you who have an 02 or 03 model the value of your car just went straight through the roof.:thumbsdow

IMO the 04's are ugly as sin! What the hell is nissan doing? First they redeem themselves by giving us a kickass SER and 300z and now they go and make their cars butt! I just don't get it! The only thing that looks good on the 04 is the taillights.

ahh, they are still cool cars. I think the older ones are a bit cooler, but thats my opinion.

I agree that the Brembo brake option is cool but this package comes without ABS or side impact airbags. In this country we need ABS for our winters, and it's too bad that Nissan didn't put the Brembo's on the back brakes aswell, makes it look more stylish.

The Brembo brake package is actually $100.00 less than the original sport package with ABS, I checked with the dealer.

I'm not a fan of the front end of the '04 or the inside. The gauges look the same for whole model line (black faces with white letters). I do however like the tail lights on the '04...
