Baseball bat and duct tape should do the job.

I would be more worried about the damage to the door if someone tries to break in by kicking the door really hard. I don't think I have anything that would cost more than the damage.

I don't know what's worse between broken window or dented door.

I'd take a dented door over a broken window. Sure sucks to have to clean up shattered glass.

if you hit it right, an don't put the porcelain through the glass, it will spider web the whole window and barely make a sound. if it goes through the glass, a very small hole will be left, the glass spider webs and you hear a loud pop sound, and the sound of what glass you knocked out hitting the ground. If you chuck it at the glass, it'll shatter and be loud as hell.
