Ok everybody, I'm parting out my 240SX. I really haven't had that much response on the whole thing, and I really need this gone to focus on other projects.

THE CAR:

1989 240sx, white in color. Most body parts are in good condition. It's pretty complete as far as interior goes, but it's got some strut tower issues and quite a bit of rust around the rear wheel wells. Any and all stock parts are up for grabs. Post up what you need and I'll let you know the condition of it, and a price.

I've put about 10-15000 km's on the swap since I got it.

Mods For Sale:

****motorset sold*****

-VLSD/ rear end pumpkin for ABS Brakes (easily made to fit non-ABS) -$300

-TEIN SS adjustable coilovers - great set-up for the street and track days -$850

-17x7 front FN01RC's in bronze *****SOLD!!!!******

-Stock wheels with ugly black chipped paint -strip them and they'd be nice- with Michelin Arctic Alpin winters (these cars are too much fun in winter) $200

-Brakes: 300zx front calipers/rotors, 300zx master cylinder, 300zx master cyl booster, stainless front lines, 300zx rear brake calipers and rotors. Painted black and front calipers were rebuilt when I installed them. -$500

-Sway Bar and Bushing sets: Bushings are new (except for subframe locks). Whiteline front Swaybar has some grindage on it from hanging low.. Cost over $1300 for the set new, sell the set for $750.

-Trust strut bar - ****sold*****

-Autometer temp guage, has dent on lip, $50

-SDS Racetech A/F meter, attach to your o2 sensor, billet aluminum black anodized case - $70

-Compustar FM Remote start/alarm with remotes, $200

I know I've forgotten some things, so I'll update when I think of them!! I'd ;ike to do pick up only on this stuff, I'll probably need your help getting some of the stuff off haha

Has to go with the SSQV (flange is welded to cold side piping)- fits only RB20/25. $550

Yeah, it all goes! heh. I think the LH front speaker is blown however.. amps $120 each, rear speakers for $40

I'm in Ontario right now, but if you hold onto that Trust bar till Friday February 23rd ill take it off your hands. Ill pick it up wherever you live too so its not a pain in your ass.

You could just tuck it away in a corner... :D

mr2's have 5x114.3 and these wheels are 4x114.3 offsets are pprobably +35

So I made some headway last night, I had lost the wheel lock key over the last few moves, and had to use the old "hammer-a-socket-on-it" trick.. I just finally got the wheels off last night.

So:

-wheels are ready to go

-Brakes are ready to go

-Steering Wheel ready to go

-Strut Tower brace ready to go

-MISC Stereo stuff ready to go (altho I'm contemplating keeping it all for the Civic)

I Can't pull out the compustar or other electronics until the buyer does his compression test on the motor, so that will be a few more days.
SOLD ITEMS :

-Fuel pumps are spoken for

-Motorset with radiator, intercooler and piping, exhaust has been sold..

Should be able to get close to getting the rest out within the next week.. I sure hope it warms up!! haha

He's coming by tonight.. I made lots of good progress yesterday, got all the front sheet metal off, front suspension stuff is all out (sways, tension rods/brakes ect), wheels are ready to go as well. As soon as we get the comp tested I'll start on the compustar.

Hood and fenders are in pretty good shape overall, surface rust around the leading edge of the wheel well but could easily be bead-blasted clean. Hood is in great shape.

Well, to be honest the chassis is not good, it would be a fine drifter car or something but would need some metal work. The A-pillars between the door hinges is all rusted away (structural), so I'm not sure what could be done with it.. not sure if it's fixable or not. That's why I parted the car out in the end, I didn't think the chassis was salvageable or safe for the next person...

You can have the shell for free. It's a gigantic rusty paperweight.
